Restorative Cosmetic Tattooing involving Paramedical Scar Camouflage, Skin Camouflage, and Skin camouflage is the art of tattooing flesh tone pigments into the skin or scar to blend, minimize, and conceal discolorations and stretch marks. It is a specialized area of permanent cosmetics known as Medical or Paramedical Tattooing. This technique can be used when the skin is hypopigmented (loss of color), on a scar that has left the person feeling self-conscious, or to restore shape and color to an area that has been misshapen by trauma or surgery. It is also very useful for camouflaging scarring left from plastic surgery on various body parts.

Skin Camouflage
Trust us to camouflage the reminder and facilitate the healing process.
Do you have a scar or mark that reminds you of a trauma you went through or that you hate because it draws attention? Do you have a scar from surgery, an accident, or even from self-harm? Using inkless micro-needling and micropigmentation, we can camouflage scars and skin irregularities that result from medical and elective surgeries, burns, skin grafts, acne, and more.
Inkless microneedling can help soften scar tissue and stimulate the body to produce collagen and melanin to improve its color and appearance. Micropigmentation deposits skin-toned pigment into the area, blending it into the surrounding skin and making it less noticeable.

Do scars on the breast react well to Scar Camouflage?Surgical procedures on the breast can create a scar if they require an incision at or around the edge of the areola. The scar that is left is called a peri-areolar scar. Some breast surgeries also create a vertical scar from the nipple through the lower portion of the breast that may need to be camouflaged. The following are breast surgical procedures that may create a scar: Breast Augmentation or Enlargement (Augmentation Mammoplasty); Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammoplasty); Breast Lift (Mastopexy); and Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia). Scar camouflage can successfully minimize the appearance of these scars. It often has a skin-smoothing effect on the scars due to the breakup of scar tissue.

Are there any safety issues I should be concerned with? All our procedures at Bella Ink Studio adhere to strict OSHA standards for Blood-borne Pathogens, and we maintain our OSHA certification by taking an annual exam. All needles and materials that touch the skin are sterile and disposable. All necessary precautions are taken to ensure a sterile and hygienic environment. The health risks associated with tattooing are small if appropriate disinfection and sterilization techniques are used.
